UNCOVERING WISDOM

This summer, I embarked on a journey to investigate the often intangible in-between space that exists between doubt and trust. What happens when people let go of control and self-doubt and move towards trusting their inner wisdom? What is the spark? The impetus? Interviews with people on their individual paths in a quest to understand the space between the head and the heart.

More soon.

COMMA WORKSHOP

From 2010-2018, Comma Workshop was my modern quilt design and manufacturing studio based in Boulder, CO. Stitching thousands of words into functional quilts, we brought a fresh perspective to the time-honored tradition of quilting. During that time, Comma quilts were featured in The New York Times, Martha Stewart Whole Living, American Craft, among others. Comma quilts celebrated the intersection of design, art, and craft.

THE BIG YELLOW ARROW

This is what emerges when you’re having a deep, thoughtful conversation deep in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming about how to define sacred space: a big 80-foot-long big yellow arrow. What started as a conversation, led to a journey across the country, connecting with people, pointing the arrow, finding the sacred in the everyday. A crowd-favorite from the days before social media.

THE GREATER GOOD

The Greater Good was part of an installation for SAAW Gallery in Philadelphia that tracked the stories of the residents of a neighborhood on the brink of gentrification. Documenting stories and the effects those stories have on us.
